Crosiers face Shoreview neighbors' objections to property sale

Neighborhood distrust toward a Roman Catholic religious order accused of several instances of past sex abuse is complicating the sale of its Shoreview property to a developer.

The Crosier Fathers and Brothers, founded in Minnesota in 1922, owns about 3 acres in a shady hollow adjacent to St. Odilia and Island Lake elementary schools. They're selling the land, home of their national headquarters since 1960, and intend to relocate their office to Phoenix by the end of June next year.[snip] Star Tribune

Is it just me or does the entire story seem to be "stretching" to include the sex abuse allegations against the Crosiers?
