KFHC - Catholic Radio Sioux City Now on the Air

.
.
Our Bishop's Support

Dear Friends of Catholic Radio:

As Catholics, all of us are called to share the gospel message of Jesus Christ. We do that in many ways. The mission of Catholic radio is bringing Christ to people and people to Christ. What could be more important?

In a world dominated by expanding communications it is essential that there be an alternative to secular media. Catholic radio will give everyone an opportunity to hear the truth of the Catholic faith daily. Jesus' words are truth, not as a community-based consensus, but truth which comes from listening to the Church guided by the Holy Spirt.

Now in the Sioux City area, we will have a chance to make Catholic Radio a reality. Please support the Campaign for Catholic Radio by making a generous pledge. When the radio station is able to begin broadcasts from 88.1 on the FM dial I invite you to listen and grow in the knowledge of our faith.

Your brother in Christ,

Most Reverend Walker Nickless
Bishop of the Diocese of Sioux City

When it comes to "support", don't forget Relevant Radio and your local Catholic Radio or TV. The Twin Cities has one of the very few broadcast Catholic television stations in the country. UHF ("Rabbit Ears") Channel 19! They broadcast virtually all of EWTN's 24 hour schedule, for free for those of you who don't have cable, some local Masses on Sundays and a few other programs including some of Jeff Cavins' programs.
