The Germans have the perfect word for it: Schadenfreude

The joy of Ms . Schadenfreude 2006 Georgette, who blogs in India at Chronicle of a Meandering Traveller, very clearly comes through in her post linking to an article reporting that Sony has just recalled 6 million batteries at a cost to them of about 25 million dollars. That is about what they made in profits off of The Da Vinci Code.
