Apologies

.
I apologize for the comment postings of the immature anonymous poster who is obsessed about an issue he isn't man enough to handle himself.

Unfortunately I know of no way to ban anonymous posters other than to ban everybody.

If he had guts enough to list his real name, maybe somebody would come to his assistance.

Please bear with it and maybe he will grow up soon.

Well it's not me Ray - you know I always sign my name to my foolishness.

Yeah, me too! I'd hate to see some anonymous person on the street blamed for my idiocy! Wait, who am I again?

Ray- you can disallow anonymous comments in Blogger. Commenters have to be able to sign in (one way or another).
Customize-->settings-->comments-->change "Who can comment"

Cathy will vouch for me. :D

Ray- I rarely comment on your blog and since you know me personally it would be unlike me. I always sign my posts. I must confess, though, that I do go to St Agnes. I have not a clue of what Anonymous was speaking of. If I had to guess I would say he is speaking about the Father Altier matter.

Ron:

No, it's not about Fr. Altier. I believe that that issue started with the chancery.

I know what the issue is, but I know nothing about the details. So I won't elaborate but the anonymous poster is unhappy by a recent decision that was made there.

Thanks, Chris:

I'm aware that you can ban "anon" posts, but I don't mind them that much. As long as people can make pseudonyms, I do wonder why they don't do that.

But that "apologies" post that I made was aimed at one guy who had become obsessed over one issue here in the Twin Cities and he kept posting comments on "off-topic" posts.

I just wanted to embarrass him. And it seems to have worked. He has not posted since I countered with the "apologies" post.
