There's also a St. Philomena shrine in Briggsville, WI, near the Dells. The local St. Philomena prayer group (at St. Charles in Bayport headed by Father Kasel) is making a pilgrimage there in August.

I knew I would get into trouble if I neglected to download the sentence that said that there were probably more than 63 national shrines in the U.S.
It's amazing how many shrines there are. I posted just the other day on Blessed Margaret and a quick internet search brought up numerous shrines just to her alone!
We plan to visit the shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe this summer as we swing through southern WI on our way to the St. Philomena shrine. Very cool that the Cathedral is right in our backyard!
Speaking of that, did you know that there is a relic from the cell where St. Joan of Arc was imprisioned on the wall, behind the main altar where the Shrines of Nations are? It's in the France section with St. Therese. Look to the left of the altar about waist high on the wall and there it is. I just learned it was there earlier this year.
I have not made it down to La Crosse yet to see the OLG shrine.
I'm not familiar with the Shrine of Nations. Is that at OLG? Or in the back of the St. Paul Cathedral?
Sorry, wasn't clear. It's at the Cathedral behind the main altar where the various nations are.
