Help Buddy Beagle Win a Prize for His Favorite Priest!


Updated on 11/10/09 with a photo because someone *cough*Terry*cough* was complaining about the lack of a photo!,

Buddy Beagle and his friends are attempting to win an Apple Macintosh MacBook Pro as a present for their favorite priest, Father John Paul Echert of the parishes of Holy Trinity and St. Augustine in South St. Paul, Minnesota.

Goodwill Stores is having a costume contest and Buddy Beagle agreed to be dressed as Sherlock Hound (Holmes). A friend is dressed as Dr. Watson.

You can vote for them until November 10th on this website. Scroll down the page until you find their image (submitted by Olivia H.) You need to register to vote. For the record, Dr. Watson is NOT Fr. Echert (LOL).

In this year of the priest, what a nice gift to keep a solid priest "connected"!

    Wouldn't it be great if Father Echert started his own blog. And being he's an Air Force Chaplain, Lt. Colonel, he flies all over the world. Sometimes.

    That would give a boost to local blogging.

    No - Father is much too modest to blog. He also has a real job which keeps him pretty busy.
