Cathy of Alexandria's Dad was admitted to the Emergency Room this evening

I just received an email from Cathy (Janice LaDuke) who is on her way to Bemidji in northern Minnesota. Her Dad, a widower for a long time, Cath is his only living child, was taken to the Emergency Room in the hospital there about 6:30 this evening. He lives in Cass Lake, nearby.

Cathy popular blog is "Recovering Dissident Catholic."

Your prayers for both of them would be greatly appreciated. They are very close and he was just down visiting her for Easter.

That's probably got to be a five hour drive for her.
