"Being Catholic: Hearing the Faithful; the Beauty and the Challenge."

.
Speaking of Faith, an American Public Media program, this week has a program called "Being Catholic: Hearing the Faithful; the Beauty and the Challenge." Krista Tippett is the host of Speaking of Faith, a subsidiary of Minnesota Public Radio. The program will be heard on most NPR stations, one would assume.

"Being Catholic" has sound and text contributions from Catholics all over the world. It can be found here.

Shared Ideas of the Church Faithful

Particular themes started to develop as we read each person's response: stories of the Eucharist, conversion, hierarchical struggles, and so on. Sort through the five broad topic areas and let us know what you think:

* » The Changing Face of Catholicism
* » Community in the Sacraments
* » Finding Stability in a Moored Tradition
* » Seeing the Church Anew
* » Wrestling with the Church

This dynamic map continues to grow as people continue to respond. Read and listen to their stories, and see the make-up of the Catholic Church, from Chile to Northern Ireland.
