I'm no expert, but there might be something to this home birthing stuff. The only newborns I've ever seen are nephews and nieces in hospitals, generally tiny and the color of ripe tomatoes. Mary Jane looks like she'll be crawling next week. Look for yourself!

Big babies are the very best!
They usually are very well developed and mature looking--just like Mary Jane. They also are usually wonderful sleepers and eaters! People cringe thinking about it (the delivery) but the larger the baby (normally large--not gestational diabetes large!) the pleasanter the mothering. She is beautiful! Thanks for sending us to the pictures!
