Yes alleluia! The poor and working-class will continue to get steam-rolled. And more people will lose their civil rights. And you happily ignore those parts of Catholic teaching you don't care about or think as important while vilifying others for doing the same. Yes alleluia!

Yes, Alleluia!!!

Welcome to more do-it-youself abortions and babies filling up trash dumpster, more people to step over and around in the streets, and more people dying for lack of adequate health care (unless they served in the military). God must be so proud of us today.

Thank you for your great comment! It's great to see there are others who truly understand. Not all Catholics are like the "Catholics" on this blog. Some of us live in the 21st century and understand Jesus' real message and what being Catholic is really about.

Also, you really shouldn't post as anon -- that drives these people nuts, their heads might just explode!

Drama queens. Don't worry, under Republican rule, you can still have all the abortions you want. And no one is stopping people of faith from helping the poor and those down on their luck. I have an idea, why don't you write a nice big check to Catholic Charities tomorrow.

I am a laped Luthern due to the left wing views of the ELCA. How about this? We swal. I officially switch from ELCA to Catholic church, and you liberals can join my former "anything goes" church, which seems more in line with your political views.

Oh, and just whom do suppose built all those schools, hospitals, orphanages, nursing homes, etc.? You know, the ones liberal Catholics tear down or abandon. Conservative Catholics have always had a preference for the poor (often themselves poor) but the big difference between them and the "peace and justice" crowd is that conservative Catholics also have a preference for ALL that holy Church in-errantly teaches. Catholic theologian Nancy Pelosi is not.

Catholic charities and other private charitable organizations usually church a 10% admin fee (the office staff to handle the dispursements). The government charges a 35% fee (not counting interest on the borrowed money). I will give my money to charties administered by the Catholic church than have the gov't take money from me by force and maybe some of it will eventually get somewhere.
