The parish priest caught a ride through water to say Mass on Easter morning in Sts. Nereus and Achilleus Catholic Church in Neche, N.D., and a Lutheran church in town canceled worship services because of the flood.
"It did remind me of the story to going through the Red Sea, which is often talked about on Easter," said the Rev. Thomas Krupich, who lives in Walhalla, N.D., where he serves a sister parish, too. "The current was so strong. I got a ride in the biggest pickup I've ever seen." Grand Forks Herald
