John A. Klang, Cazenovia, WI: R.I.P.

CAZENOVIA - John A. Klang, age 49, of Cazenovia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. He was born on Dec. 11, 1956, in Reedsburg the son of Donald and Jeanette (Gasser) Klang. John graduated from Weston High School in 1975. He attended UW LaCrosse, graduating in 1979. On May 10, 1980, John was united in marriage to Susan K. Adelman at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Cazenovia. This marriage was blessed with three children. John was self-employed as a dairy farmer in rural Cazenovia until 2003, at which time he also attained his masters degree in school administration from Marion College in Fond du Lac. John later became the athletic director at Weston High School and was the principal at St. Anthony's Catholic School in Germantown. In 2004, John became the principal of Weston High School and the district administrator for the Weston School District. John enjoyed being outdoors, often going for long walks and photographing wildlife. He was a fisherman and an avid hunter. John was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Germantown and a member of the Knights of Columbus. A Mass of Christian Burial for John A. Klang will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, at WESTON HIGH SCHOOL, E2511A County Road S, Cazenovia, with Father Andre' Panek officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Germantown.
