Ordination Week for Bishop Paul Swain in Sioux Falls: Thursday, 2 p.m.

.
Bishop-designate Paul J. Swain will be ordained and installed at St. Joseph Cathedral on Thursday, October 26 at 2 p.m. Archbishop Harry Flynn of St Paul-Minneapolis, will serve as principal consecrator, assisted by Swain's predecessor, Bishop Robert Carlson of Saginaw and Bishop William Bullock, emeritus of his home diocese of Madison.

Access to the ordination and installation liturgy will be "by ticket only" because of space constraints in St. Joseph Cathedral.

But the ordination is going to be televised "live" across the diocese on KELO Television as well as a web cast on www.keloland.com

The bishop then plans to make the pilgrimage to meet and greet as many people of the diocese as he can. More information on the Thanksgiving Pilgrimage will be online when dates have been finalized.
