St Paul Priest, 95, not retired, and living in Arizona

The Rev. Stephen Adrian will turn 95 on Friday, and he intends to keep celebrating Catholic Masses and hearing confessions until his body puts a stop to it.

“At night, when I go to bed, I say, ‘Lord, put my feet on the ground, and I will work for you,’ ” says the nearly blind clergyman with 67 years of ordained work behind him. Each Friday night, Adrian hears confessions for an hour at St. Anne’s Catholic parish in Gilbert and officiates the 6 p.m. Saturday service, called the Children’s Mass.
