St Agnes is Gearing Up for the Extraordinary Form of the 1962 Latin Mass

.

.
A brand new (at least to me) blog, Chris & Co., has the news that Father Ubel, the pastor of St Agnes parish in St Paul is on the lookout for Altar Boy Trainees willing to learn Latin and the choreography of the traditional Latin Mass. Check it out Here, and you will also be thrilled by the best photographs that are available of the interior of St Agnes. St Agnes has offered the Novus Ordo (Vatican II) Mass in Latin for many years.

I'm guessing that Novus Ordo servers (only boys at St Agnes) are not responsible for providing responses to the prayers of the celebrant to the extent that they are in the Extraordinary Form Latin Mass. And the rubrics, the term for the movements of the celebrant and the servers much more involved for altar boys in the older Mass.

More details to come.

thanks so much for the mention- I'm glad you liked the photos. It's hard to capture the magnificence of that place with a camera- but I am willing to try :)
