My chief blog advisor said, "go ahead, post it."
University of St Thomas Bulletin, St Paul, MN: Father Jan Michael Joncas, Theology and Catholic Studies departments, College of Arts and Sciences, was awarded the Jubilate Deo Award, and Marty Haugen ’91 M.A. was honored as the Pastoral Musician of the Year by the National Association of Pastoral Musicians at its national convention July 11 in Indiana.
Now you know where it all began.

Re: Mr. Haugen. Well, at least it wasn't Catholic Musician of the Year.
If I were the uncharitable type, I'd be saying something about this gathering having more hacks than a cat with a hairball.
Of course, I'm not the uncharitable type, so I won't say that.

"Good beat and it's easy to dance to, Mr. Clark."
Terry - do we give it a 65?

How embarrassing.
Ray: Who is your chief blog advisor? Karl Rove recently left the White House, not a coincidence, I hope?
UST just can't seem to keep itself out of the goop. When they renamed Albertus Magnus Hall after Archbishop Roach that was the end of it for this alum.
Terry: I don't know if it has a good beat, but many seem to find it easy to dance to.
Huh? They renamed Magnus Hall for Archbishop Roach?! How did I miss that one?
Banality, thy name is Haugen.
I see that Mr. Haugen has an upcoming concert at St. Bonnie in Bloomington. I'm sure good seats are still available.
Our Word: I'm looking forward to the review on Our Word and Welcome to It!
The renaming of Albertus Magnus Hall came years ago when they built the new science and engineering buildings on what was then the Seminary grounds. Since AB Hall had been the science building, they renamed it after Archbishop Roach. Sorry if you guys thought it was a recent event...old news.
Cathy,
That's one review you're going to be waiting for a long, long time...
