Catholic Extension Society Subsidizes Area Dioceses

Are the times for missionary work in the United States over? Not at all!

The Catholic Church Extension Society, based in Chicago, provides financial assistance to many U.S. parishes, including a good number in our area.

Crookston - Religious and Seminary Education, Campus Ministry, and Salary Subsidies
Duluth - Salary Subsidies
Fargo - Religious and Seminary Education, Campus Ministry, Salary Subsidies and Mass Offerings
New Ulm - Religious Education and Salary Subsidies
Sioux Falls - Church Buildings and Religious Education
Superior - Church Buildings

The Catholic Church Extension Society exists to sustain and extend the Catholic Faith in poor and remote mission areas of the United States where diocesan resources are insufficient. Catholic Extension builds national awareness and raises funds for the Church's needs in these communities so as to enable the essential mission of Catholic evangelization.

With your help, we allocate more than $16 million annually to assist church building and repair, missionary salaries, seminarian education, evangelization and outreach programs, campus ministry and disaster relief.
