Where did Cathy of Alexandria run off to?

.
St Blog's parishioners, especially those living in the Twin Cities have been quite concerned about the mysterious disappearance of Catherine of Alexandria who blogs at the Recovering Dissident Catholic. Nobody seems to know what has happened to her. She mysteriously announced that she would be gone for over a month, and now it seems that she will be coming back tomorrow.

One of our ace sleuths, who normally spends his time in disguise searching for liturgical abuses, took a few hours off and did a little Googling and believe that he has figured out what has happened to "Our Cathy."

It has been known for some time that because of the move of her company to a distant suburb that she has been unhappy about her commuting times which have caused her to leave for work about 5:00 a.m. in order not to spend a great deal of time parked in traffic tie-ups.

Our sleuth took some time off this morning and happened to notice that Karl Rove, President Bush's closest and most powerful adviser has decided to retire and return to Texas and do whatever they do down there. President Bush still has 18 months or so to finish his term of office and needs to fill this vacancy immediately.

Putting two and two together, it looks like Cathy got the job:
