September 29 – October 1: Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat

Have you, or someone you know, suffered from the physical, emotional, and spiritual effects of past abortion? Rachel’s Vineyard offers a safe, non-judgmental and confidential weekend retreat for anyone; women, men, grandparents and siblings who struggle with the feelings of loss that can accompany abortions in their lives. The weekend begins on a Friday night and concludes on Sunday afternoon. The next Rachel's Vineyard Retreat is scheduled for September 29-October 1 in Crookston, MN. October 1: Annual Walk with Christ for Life Eucharistic Procession
Come celebrate Respect Life Sunday, October 1st, with Noon Mass at the Cathedral of St. Mary, Fargo. Immediately following Mass will begin the Eucharistic procession to the state's only abortion facility. The event will conclude with Benediction at the Cathedral, about 2:30 pm. This is a prayerful -peaceful procession in witness to the sanctity of human life. All are encouraged to participate.

October 13-15: Marian Eucharistic Congress
The Marian Eucharistic Congress is scheduled for Oct. 13-15, 2006, at the (Fargo) Civic Memorial Auditorium, 207 N 4th St., Fargo, ND.
The Marian Eucharistic Congress, held every other year for the past decade, draws Catholics from across the nation and Canada to Fargo to focus on the Eucharist, which is referred to in the Catechism of the Catholic Church as the “source and summit of the Christian life” (CCC1324).

October 13: Idea Exchange, Radisson Hotel, Fargo

here will be a gathering for DREs, Youth Ministers, Adult Eds, Evangelization Coordinators, & RCIA Teams at the Radisson Hotel, 201 5th St N, Fargo (across from the Civic Center) from 8:30 a.m. until noon. This is an opportunity for those involved with passing on the Faith to pray together and exchange ideas. October 20: Senior High Youth Celebration, St. Mary's, Grand Forks
Senior High Youth Celebration will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 216 Belmont Rd. Grand Forks. Registration deadline is October 6. Register at your local parish, or check Web site. Guest speaker is Fr. Stan Fortuna from the Bronx, NY. Cost is $25/student, $10/chaperone; T-shirts must be ordered at time of registration, $8.50/shirt (up to size XXL.) October 27-29: I-94 Nun Run
During this weekend, participants will enjoy the hospitality of and share in prayer and liturgy with the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Fargo, the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation, Valley City, the Benedictine Sisters of Annunciation Monastery, Bismarck, and the Benedictine Sisters of Sacred Heart Monastery, Richardton.
