National Conference of Diocesan Vocation Directors Convention Sep 23-28, Bloomington

.
The Family: Seedbed of Vocations

Welcome to the 43rd Annual National Conference of Diocesan Vocation Directors (NCDVD) Convention to be held at the Sheraton Bloomington, from September 23-28 in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Our theme this year, The Family: Seedbed of Vocations, reflects the relationship between the culture and strength of families and vocations to priesthood and consecrated life. Our program consists of a team of speakers with great knowledge of the family and vocations, including Most Rev. Archbishop Harry J. Flynn, Archbishop of Saint Paul and Minneapolis; Most Rev. Robert J. Carlson, Bishop of Saginaw, MI, and current Chair of the USCCB Committee on Priestly Life and Ministry, past Chair of the Committee on Vocations; and Deacon James Keating, Director of Theological Research in the Institute of Priestly Formation at Creighton University. We are also pleased to offer a set of workshops based on input from our membership that will help vocation directors do their work in the trenches every day. Click here for details of the pre-convention and convention workshops. NCDVD
