Christian Student Group Sues UW-Superior

.
The dispute over whether a Christian student group has the right to require its student officers to support Christian doctrines is headed to court.

The University of Wisconsin-Superior chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship filed suit in federal court in Madison this week against UWS and the UW System.

The Christian fellowship group is asking UWS to reinstate the Superior chapter and allow all InterVarsity chapters on UW campuses to use religious criteria to select chapter officers. The group is also seeking monetary damages and costs.
