And the "Local" Nominees for the Catholic Blog Awards are . . . .

.
The Polls are now open. You'd best vote early, but not often. But there is no law (or commandment) that prohibits you from being a "homer" and voting for your local pals, just like they do in Major League Baseball for the All Star Teams. So here is the roster of regional bloggers who have been nominated for the Catholic Blog Awards this year. [Actually, everybody that got nominated made it on to the ballot. ]

Because of the new voting system, this year every blog that was nominated will be up for voting. No longer will only the most nominated blogs be the ones that make it to the final cut.

Please make sure to double check your votes and that you voted in the categories you wish to vote in. Each person will only have one vote.

Voting will continue until Friday, February 16 at noon CST and reults will be posted by Sunday, February 18 at noon. You can find the Polls Here.

You will have to register to vote so that pagans don't come and try to elect their candidates!

Well, Ray, sometimes the best "apologetics" is to simply refuse to take the bait.

We are Catholic; we live our lives and our faith whether we are being attacked or not. We post about our journeys as though those who disagree with us will not take note; and yet they do.

And some are converted.

I would daresay that those who are not "apologists" in common parlance will actually arrive at Heaven's Gate with far more souls in tow, more than they themselves ever realized because it isn't argument or discussion that wins conversions; it is living the truth to the fullest.

And that's all I have to say about that.

Perhaps it's a testament to the local blogs that none of us are recognized as "apologists".

God bless you, Ray. You put most of us to shame.
