Who says St Agnes isn't "grounded?" They have their annual Religious Articles Sale after all the Masses on the weekends of March 17 & 18 and March 24 & 25. A Great time to shop for graduation, First Communion, Confirmation, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Baptisms, Fishing Opener and all other special events.

I've been to St. Agnes for mass once. What a beautiful parish - truly a light in the darkness! If I were to return to living in the Cities, I'd do my best to live within walking distance of that parish! (I say this knowing its not the greatest neighborhood :)
I'm really upset. Why just the fishing opener and not the firearms deer season? Sure, you can make the argument that they are focusing on Spring but I'm really angry that they ignored the deer hunt.
;-)
Ray, you trickster!

Actually, ads like containing the names of Churches or things like "Perpetual Adoration" are considered racist in communities where white Catholic communities didn't want to sell to Blacks and other minorities.
